London based Berner’s Tavern is nestled between high-end Marylebone, the energy of Soho and the grandeur of Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia is a perfect fusion of neighbourhoods. We delivered a timeless response for application throughout the identity, from art direction, digital design and activation, to print collaterals and social strategy, creating consistency across all elements of the brand.
The Clock Tower is situated on the second floor of the hotel overlooking New York’s Madison Square Park. The restaurant consists of a billiards room, three intimate dining rooms and a bar that is made entirely of 24k gold leaf. Its period features – original herringbone oak floors, mahogany paneling, marble fireplace, gold bar, velvet chairs, purple pool table and walls adorned with vintage black and white photos are drawn from over four centuries of art and design. Working with Jason Atherton, Steven Starr and Ian Schrager, we created a brand identity that is the perfect balance between its elegant indulgent past and its contemporary New York City feel from art direction through to digital design and activation.
